Germany’s Stada Arzneimittel has demonstrated its OTC ambitions by striking two deals in quick succession. The news that Stada was set to acquire the Aqualor brand in Russia for €131 million came soon after the generics firm paid €259 million for the UK’s Thornton & Ross.
