Strong demand for vitamins, minerals and supplements (VMS) helped lift Bayer Consumer Health’s worldwide sales up by 13.5% on a currency- and portfolio-adjusted basis to EUR1.40 billion (USD1.55 billion) in the first quarter of 2020.

Bayer Consumer Health reported worldwide sales up by 2.6% on a currency- and portfolio-adjusted basis to EUR5.46 billion (USD6.09 billion) in 2019. Werner Baumann, Bayer's chief executive officer, said the division had “returned to peer-like sales growth”.
