WHO calls for strong controls on e-cigarettes

The World Health Organization (WHO) is calling for strong global regulation of e-cigarettes, including a ban on unproven claims involving smoking cessation. Potential health risks to users and non-users of e-cigarettes must be minimised, says the WHO, and promotion of e-cigarettes to non-smokers and young people should be curbed.
