Worldwide sales at Sanofi Consumer Healthcare dropped by 4.3% at constant exchange rates in the second quarter of 2016, as the business continued to feel the impact of Venezuela's economic problems. Meanwhile, Sanofi's chief executive officer Olivier Brandicourt said the company "continues to be optimistic" about switching the erectile-dysfunction drug Cialis (tadalafil) from prescription-to-OTC status.
