Vemedia Consumer Health’s Excilor Skintag Treatment has won the OTCToolbox Consumer Healthcare Industry (CHi) Award for Innovation of the Year.
This CHi Award honours the best consumer healthcare product innovation in 2019. Five of the nine judges ranked Vemedia Consumer Health’s Excilor Skintag Treatment first or second out of the eight candidates.
“Innovation in product packaging and design has enabled a doctor’s office procedure to be conducted simply and safely at home,” was the verdict of Jeremy Puttock from Healthy Brands.
Puttock said the Excilor Skintag Treatment was an “easy-to-use solution” that would bring “additional sales and growth to the OTC market”.
Ralf Sibbing commented that Excilor Skintag Treatment was a “really innovative consumer healthcare product in a previously unoccupied sector”. He added that the product expanded the “excellent dermal competence of the Excilor umbrella brand”.
Another judge noted the product “met a largely unmet consumer need with safety, speed and minimum discomfort”.
