25 October 2019 - Deborah Wilkes
The UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has appointed an interim director of devices following the retirement of John Wilkinson.
Graeme Tunbridge, the MHRA’s group manager for devices regulatory affairs, took up the post on 21 October 2019.
Tunbridge joined the MHRA in 2011. He had previously held deputy director roles at the Department of Health and spent 18 months as private secretary to the secretary of state for health.
The MHRA announced in May 2019 that Wilkinson would step down as director of devices at the end of October. He had held the post since February 2012 (click here to read the News story).
