Vit Health has launched a range of vitamins, minerals and supplements (VMS) that support personal health goals in the US, Viatris has extended Viagra Connect in the UK and launched the OTC product in Ireland, and BioGaia has expanded its offering in its home market of Sweden.
Vit Health launches Vit brand
Vit Health has launched its first range of vitamins, minerals and supplements (VMS) in the US.
The company says its Vit brand brings “value and accessibility to the wellness space” with five dietary supplements retailing at USD10.00 per 30-day pack.
Backed by the slogan “Wellness made easy”, the Vit brand maintains that “Looking after your health should not be overly complicated or expensive”.
Vit comprises five dietary supplements that are formulated to support “personal health goals”:
- Beyond Gorgeous is for “Hair, Skin & Nails”
- Cloud Nine is for “Stress & Mood Support”
- Hearts & Minds is for “Heart & Brain Health”
- In The Zone is for “Focus & Concentration”
- Pocketful of Sunshine is for “Immunity & Positive Mood”
Mick Burchfield, general manager of Vit Health, said the line offered a “manageable and easy shift towards wellness, especially when used in tandem with other lifestyle improvements”.
Viatris expands Viagra Connect
Viatris has extended Viagra Connect in the UK with a two-tablet pack aimed at men treating erectile dysfunction for the first time.
The new pack, which retails at GBP10.99 (USD15.00), contains two x 50mg sildenafil citrate tablets.
The two-tablet pack joins the existing range of Viagra Connect packs containing four, eight, 12 or 24 x 50mg sildenafil citrate tablets.
Viatris has also just launched Viagra Connect onto the Irish OTC market.
Sildenafil is now available without a prescription in Ireland, New Zealand, Norway, Poland and the UK.
BioGaia grows in Sweden
BioGaia’s entire adult health portfolio is now available in its home market of Sweden, following the recent launches of BioGaia Osfortis for bone health and BioGaia Prodentis for mouth health.
The Swedish probiotics specialist said BioGaia Osfortis capsules contained the “clinically-tested and patented” lactic acid bacterium Limosilactobacillus reuteri ATCC PTA 6475 plus vitamin D3.
BioGaia Prodentis lozenges, which are available in around 40 countries, contains the “patented” lactic acid bacteria Limosilactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 and ATCC PTA 5289. The company said the product had been tested in more than 50 clinical studies.
