Poland's reverse-switch of EllaOne sparks anger

The Polish government's decision to reverse-switch emergency contraceptives to prescription-only medicines is not a wise decision, according to the Association of the European Self-Medication Industry (AESGP). The move will affect HRA Pharma's EllaOne (ulipristal acetate), which was switched to non-prescription status in 2015 through the European Union's centralised procedure.
