Perrigo plans to step up branded presence in US

Perrigo plans to grow its presence in the branded sector of the US OTC market by targeting categories that are "more niche", according to chairman and chief executive officer Joseph Papa. He said the store-brand specialist was considering launching its European products in the US, making additional acquisitions and switching medicines from prescription-to-OTC status.
