Stada, Derma E and the Danish Medicines Agency have all recently announced people changes.
Goldschmidt takes the reins at Stada
Peter Goldschmidt has now succeeded Claudio Albrecht as chief executive officer of Stada Arzneimittel. The change was announced in early 2018 (click here to read the News story).
Goldschmidt joins the German generics and OTC company from Sandoz – the generics division of Novartis – where he was president of Sandoz US and Head North America.
Stada said Goldschmidt would use the next 100 days to get to know the group, its partners and its customers intensively, and would then share his strategic priorities with the team.
The company noted that Albrecht would not be taking a seat on Stada's Supervisory Board under the German government's "cooling-off" regulation of 2009.
Derma E recruits from L'Oréal
Skincare specialist Derma E has appointed Brenda Wu as president and chief executive officer with immediate effect. She also becomes a member of the US-based company's board of directors.
Wu joins Derma E from L'Oréal, where she spent a decade working with well-known brands such as Skinceuticals, Giorgio Armani Beauty, Lancôme and Kiehl's. Most recently, Wu was US general manager of Skinceuticals.
Derma E was recently acquired by Topix Pharmaceuticals, which is a portfolio company of private-equity firm New Mountain Capital (click here to read the News story).
Brun chairs Task Force on Big Data
