Changes to RB’s top team

RB has announced two more changes to its Executive Committee. The news follows three other recent changes.

Laxman Narasimhan, RB’s new chief executive officer, said he looked forward to working with this “exceptional group pf leaders”.

The UK-based company said Mike Duijser, chief supply officer, had decided to leave RB “to return to the US for personal reasons”.

A successor would be appointed in due course, said the company, adding that Frederick Dutrenit, senior vice president manufacturing health, would cover the role on an interim basis.

In addition, chief human resources officer Gurveen Singh is retiring after 27 years at RB.

Ranjay Radhakrishnan will join RB as chief human resources officer and a member of the Executive Committee on 1 March 2020.

Radhakrishnan, who is currently chief human resources officer at InterContinental Group Hotels, previously spent 23 years at Unilever.

RB has recently made a number of other changes to its Executive Committee including the appointment of PepsiCo’s Kris Licht to the newly-created position of chief transformation officer (click here to read the News story).

Harold van den Broek was promoted to chief operating officer of the Hygiene Home business following the departure of Rob de Groot, president of the business.

Nature’s Bounty hires industry veteran

The Nature’s Bounty Co has recruited Jay Jones as chief supply chain officer.

Jones was most recently chief operating officer of Country Life, a manufacturer of natural dietary supplements and personal care products. He has also worked for International Vitamin Company (IVC), Elizabeth Arden, Accupac, Warner Lambert and Johnson & Johnson.

He will report to Nature’s Bounty’s president and chief executive officer Paul Sturman.

Sturman said Jones was a “results-driven and decisive consumer packaged goods veteran with deep supply chain experience and a 30-year track record of developing and building cross-functional teams to exceed expectations”.

Jones said Nature's Bounty had a “strong history with some of the most trusted brands in the world”.

The French pharmaceutical company said Hildemann would be executive vice president, chief medical officer, and head of global medical affairs and pharmacovigilance.
