RB has announced more changes to its top team, The Nature’s Bounty Co has a new chief supply chain officer, and Ipsen has a new member of its Executive Leadership Team.
Changes to RB’s top team
RB has announced two more changes to its Executive Committee. The news follows three other recent changes.
Laxman Narasimhan, RB’s new chief executive officer, said he looked forward to working with this “exceptional group pf leaders”.
The UK-based company said Mike Duijser, chief supply officer, had decided to leave RB “to return to the US for personal reasons”.
A successor would be appointed in due course, said the company, adding that Frederick Dutrenit, senior vice president manufacturing health, would cover the role on an interim basis.
In addition, chief human resources officer Gurveen Singh is retiring after 27 years at RB.
Ranjay Radhakrishnan will join RB as chief human resources officer and a member of the Executive Committee on 1 March 2020.
Radhakrishnan, who is currently chief human resources officer at InterContinental Group Hotels, previously spent 23 years at Unilever.
RB has recently made a number of other changes to its Executive Committee including the appointment of PepsiCo’s Kris Licht to the newly-created position of chief transformation officer (click here to read the News story).
Harold van den Broek was promoted to chief operating officer of the Hygiene Home business following the departure of Rob de Groot, president of the business.
In addition, Ahold Delhaize’s Jeff Carr has been recruited as chief financial officer following the announcement of Adrian Hennah’s retirement (click here to read the News story).
Nature’s Bounty hires industry veteran
The Nature’s Bounty Co has recruited Jay Jones as chief supply chain officer.
Jones was most recently chief operating officer of Country Life, a manufacturer of natural dietary supplements and personal care products. He has also worked for International Vitamin Company (IVC), Elizabeth Arden, Accupac, Warner Lambert and Johnson & Johnson.
He will report to Nature’s Bounty’s president and chief executive officer Paul Sturman.
Sturman said Jones was a “results-driven and decisive consumer packaged goods veteran with deep supply chain experience and a 30-year track record of developing and building cross-functional teams to exceed expectations”.
Jones said Nature's Bounty had a “strong history with some of the most trusted brands in the world”.
Senior appointment at Ipsen
Ipsen has appointed Steven Hildemann – a former senior executive at Germany’s Merck – to its Executive Leadership Team with effect from 1 March 2020.
The French pharmaceutical company said Hildemann would be executive vice president, chief medical officer, and head of global medical affairs and pharmacovigilance.
Hildemann spent five years at Merck where he was chief medical officer, senior vice president, and head of global medical affairs and global patient safety.
