Procter & Gamble (P&G) has appointed a new chief financial officer, Adamed Pharma has made changes to its Management Board, and the US Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) has hired a senior director of communications.
P&G appoints new finance chief
Procter & Gamble (P&G) has announced that Andre Schulten will take over as chief financial officer with effect from 1 March 2021. Schulten will report to David Taylor, chairman, president and chief executive officer of P&G.
Schulten is currently P&G’s senior vice president for North America Baby Care.
Taylor said Schulten had a “distinguished career in finance and accounting as well as critical business leadership recently leading North America Baby Care”.
Schulten will replace Jon Moeller who will keep his position as vice chairman and chief operating officer. Moeller joined P&G in 1988 and has been chief financial officer since 2009.
Adamed makes changes
Poland’s Adamed Pharma has made a number of changes to its Management Board.
The owners of Adamed – president of the Management Board Maciej Adamkiewicz and vice president Malgorzata Adamkiewicz – are moving from the Management Board to the Supervisory Board. Adamed said this would allow them to “focus primarily on strategic considerations and directions”.
Adamed said the owners would introduce the children to the business management process with the aim of making them capable of taking over the management of Adamed in the long term.
The company stressed that Adamed remained wholly owned by the Adamkiewicz family and there were no plans to sell any shares to third-party investors or to float the company.
Two new members have joined the Management Board: Sylwia Berdzik-Kalarus, head of business development and portfolio management; and Marcin Celejewski, head of business innovation projects.
CRN hires communications professional
The US Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) has hired Kendall Ridley as senior director of communications.
The trade association said Ridley’s main responsibilities would be spearheading its strategic communications programme, building key partnerships and crafting consumer education and advocacy campaigns.
She joins the CRN from CoStar Group where she was senior manager of external communication. She has also worked for the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and Halpern Enterprises.
Ridley will report to Brian Wommack, the CRN’s senior vice president, communications.
