New chief for Dr Reddy's

Dr Reddy's Laboratories has promoted Erez Israeli to chief executive officer with effect from 1 August 2019. Israeli joined the Indian company in April 2018 as chief operating officer.

Dermapharm recruits Bionorica's Ott

Dermapharm has appointed Bionorica's Jürgen Ott as chief marketing officer with effect from 1 October 2019.

He replaces Stefan Grieving who is leaving the German company for "health reasons" on 31 July 2019. Grieving has been with Dermapharm for nine years.

Commenting on the appointment, Dermapharm said Ott had "valuable experience" with herbal products, which was an area the company wanted to develop further.

Ott has been regional head for Central Europe at German herbal pharmaceutical specialist Bionorica since 2017. He joined Bionorica in 2010 as head of marketing Germany, and was promoted to head of marketing and sales Germany in 2014.

Prior to joining Bionorica, Ott spent 11 years at Procter & Gamble.

Ott will be a member of Dermapharm's Management Board.

Change at CHP Australia

CHP Australia has hired Sarah Coward as its new public affairs manager, replacing Jarrod Lomas who has moved to Australia's federal government.

The industry association said Coward was a "political and communications professional experienced in stakeholder engagement and innovative campaigning and communications". She is a former adviser to a leader of Australia's opposition, and a former state director of the business engagement and fundraising operations for a political party.
