- PAGB’s Donna Castle to join UK’s Advertising Standards Authority
- Castle will be director of communications at the advertising regulator
- She has worked for the British Lung Foundation, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Diabetes UK
The UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has hired PAGB’s Donna Castle as director of communications with effect from 18 May 2022.
Castle is currently executive director of policy and communications at PAGB, the UK-based consumer healthcare association.
Before joining PAGB in 2015, she worked for the British Lung Foundation, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Diabetes UK (click here to read the News story).
Commenting on her new role, Castle said: “The ASA has proven that self-regulation and co-regulation are effective in ensuring UK advertisements, especially online, are responsible and truthful.”
The ASA has also appointed Judith Rowland-Hill as director of corporate services. She will join on 25 April 2022 from DePaul UK.
PAGB has just won the OTCToolbox Consumer Healthcare Industry (CHi) Award for Self-Care Initiative of the Year for its Blueprint for a National Self Care Strategy for England (click here to read the News story).
