McKesson has promoted Brian Tyler to president and chief operating officer

McKesson, Pierre Fabre, the French OTC industry association AFIPA, the US Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), and Probi have announced people changes.

US drug distributor McKesson has promoted Brian Tyler to president and chief operating officer. He was previously chairman of the Management Board at McKesson Europe, formerly Celesio.

Tyler reports to John Hammergren, McKesson's chairman and chief executive officer, and is a member of the Executive Committee.

Promotion at Pierre Fabre

Pierre Fabre has promoted Núria Perez-Cullell to chief executive officer of its Dermo-Cosmetics subsidiary with effect from 20 August 2018. She has been with the French company since 1998.

Perez-Cullell takes over from Eric Ducournau who was recently promoted to chief executive officer of Pierre Fabre (click here to read the News story).

AFIPA elects new president

Sanofi Consumer Healthcare's Franck Leyze has been elected president of the French OTC industry association, AFIPA. He has been general manager of Sanofi Consumer Healthcare in France since May 2017.

CRN hires in communications

The CRN has hired Brian Wommack to lead its communications department. He previously worked for law firm Cameron where he led the strategic communications practice.

Wommack joins the US trade association for the dietary supplement and functional food industry as senior vice president of communications, reporting to president and chief executive officer Steve Mister.

Resignation at Probi

Probi has announced that chief financial officer Jörn Andreas is leaving the company for "personal reasons". Andreas will remain with Probi until a replacement is found.

The Swedish probiotics specialist is also seeking a permanent chief executive officer to replace Peter Nählstedt (click here to read the News story).
