Lloydspharmacy names new superintendent pharmacist
Victoria Steele will be Lloydspharmacy’s first female superintendent pharmacist

McKesson UK’s Lloydspharmacy is promoting Victoria Steele to superintendent pharmacist.

Steele will take over from Steve Howard who is retiring on 31 December 2020 after 35 years with the pharmacy chain (click here to read the News story).

Lloydspharmacy said Steele would be the first female superintendent pharmacist in its history.

Steele qualified as a pharmacist in 2000 and joined McKesson UK in 2011. She is currently deputy superintendent for Lloydspharmacy and head of clinical governance and professional standards.

In addition to her work at McKesson UK, Steele is vice chair of the Community Pharmacy Patient Safety Group and of the Professional Practice Group of the Company Chemists’ Association (CCA).
