Cranz returns as head of Germany's BAH
Hubertus Cranz was director general of the Association of the European Self-Medication Industry, the AESGP, for 30 years

Hubertus Cranz has been appointed director general of the German Medicines Manufacturers' Association, the BAH with effect from 31 May 2019.

Cranz takes over from Martin Weiser who has headed up the industry association for eight years.

Up until a year ago, Cranz was director general of the Association of the European Self-Medication Industry, the AESGP. He retired on 1 June 2018 after 30 years in the post (click here to read the News story).

The BAH described Cranz as a very experienced association leader with extensive contacts in the consumer healthcare industry.
