Bayer starts realising Merck sales synergies

Worldwide sales at Bayer's Consumer Care business increased by more than two-thirds to €1.56 billion (US$1.75 billion) in the first quarter of 2015, following the acquisitions of Merck & Co's Consumer Care business and China's Dihon Pharmaceutical. Bayer is now "relaunching and repositioning" some of the former Merck products in key countries.
