Bayer Consumer Health reports expected decline

Bayer Consumer Health struggled in the first quarter of 2019, reporting worldwide sales down by 1.4% on a currency- and portfolio-adjusted basis to EUR1.40 billion (USD1.57 billion). Bayer's chief executive officer Werner Baumann said the business was expected to strengthen "gradually" in the coming quarters.
