Australia defers codeine reverse-switch decision

Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has deferred its decision on the proposed reverse-switch of all non-prescription medicines containing codeine to prescription status. The regulatory agency, which had intended to make a final decision in November 2015, now says no decision will be made before 23 June 2016.
