AESGP conference to focus on key regulatory issues

Key regulatory issues facing the consumer healthcare industry will be discussed at a conference organised by the Association of the European Self-Care Industry (AESGP).

Speakers at the online Regulatory Conference on 25 November 2021 will include Emer Cooke, executive director of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), and Andrzej Rys, director health systems, medical products and innovation at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety.

The conference will include sessions covering the Pharmaceutical Strategy for Non-Prescription Medicines and Implementation of the Medical Devices Regulation.

There will also be a session looking at Practical Implications of the Farm to Fork Strategy and Chemical Strategy for Sustainability.

During the conference, the AESGP will launch a global environmental sustainability charter for the self-care industry.
