Five Consumer Healthcare Industry (CHi) Awards for marketing will be presented at the OTCToolbox 2019 Consumer Healthcare Marketing Event to be held in London, UK, on 28-29 November 2019. The five awards are:

  • European Launch of the Year
  • European Marketing Campaign of the Year
  • Regulatory Achievement of the Year
  • Self-Care Initiative of the Year
  • Lifetime Achievement

European Launch of the Year

This CHi Award will go to an outstanding launch of a consumer healthcare/OTC product anywhere in Europe. The launch should have taken place during the 12 months from 1 July 2018 until 30 June 2019. Your entry should list the product, the country/countries where the launch took place, and the company, as well as giving details of the goals, the launch campaign and results of the launch. Please include photographs and/or videos where appropriate.

European Marketing Campaign of the Year

This CHi Award will go to an outstanding marketing campaign for a consumer healthcare/OTC product anywhere in Europe. The marketing campaign should have been active at some point during the 12 months from 1 July 2018 until 30 June 2019. Your entry should list the brand, the country/countries where the campaign ran, and the company, as well as giving details of the goals, format and results of the campaign. Please include photographs and/or videos where appropriate.

Regulatory Achievement of the Year

This CHi Award will go to an outstanding regulatory achievement in the consumer healthcare/OTC industry anywhere in the world. The regulatory achievement should have occurred during the 12 months from 1 July 2018 until 30 June 2019. The achievement should have been by a consumer healthcare/OTC company or an industry association. Examples of regulatory achievements include switching medicines from prescription-to-non-prescription status, new product claims, and changes to legislation. Your entry should list the regulatory achievement and the name of the organisation behind the achievement, as well as giving details of the achievement including the goals, format and the impact. Please include photographs and/or videos where appropriate.

Self-Care Initiative of the Year

This CHi Award will go to an outstanding initiative anywhere in the world that encourages/promotes self-care. The initiative should have been launched during the 12 months from 1 July 2018 until 30 June 2019. The initiative should have been organised by a consumer healthcare/OTC company or an industry assocation. Your entry should list the name of the initiative and the name of the organiser, and should give details of the initiative including the goals, format and results. Please include photographs and videos where appropriate.

Lifetime Achievement

This CHi Award will go to an organisation or person anywhere in the world that has made an important contribution to the consumer healthcare/OTC industry. The winner of this Award is decided by the staff of OTCToolbox. The 2019 winner has already been chosen.

Who can enter?

The CHi Awards are open to consumer healthcare/OTC companies and industry associations around the world. There is no entry fee. They will be judged by a panel of marketing experts.

The CHi Awards cover a broad range of consumer healthcare/OTC products including: non-prescription medicines; vitamins, minerals and supplements (VMS); self-care medical devices; skin health products; and other consumer healthcare/OTC products.
